Speech-Language Pathologist,Speech Therapy
Job Type:PRN,DayShiftand as needed

Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Performs and documentsinitialand ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
* Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
* Educates and counsels patients and familiesregardingtreatment plans and progress.
* Plans and/orassistswith patient discharge from therapy services.

Fully Licensed SLPsOnly:
* Supervisesactivities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Minimum EducationMaster’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology: â–¡ Preferred X Required

Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist
Current Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee:â–¡ Preferred X RequiredORCurrent Provisional Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee with the expectation to obtain a regular Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee within 12 months from hire:â–¡ Preferred X Required

Required SkillsCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
