Salary Range: $23.50 To 34.50 Hourly
Lead Marine has immediate openings for CAR Coordinator/Tip writers for the Shipyard Industry here in San Diego. CAR Coordinator/Tip Writer will need a minimum of 2-4 years in ship repair / shipyard related experience.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the development and oversight of PCE’s Corrective Action (CAR) program including all the intricacies involved with corrective actions. Also responsible for the development and oversight of PCE’s Test and Inspection Plans (TIPs).
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years in ship repair / shipyard related experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Extensive knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items, work specifications, test memorandums, and all associated drawings and technical publications.
- Ship repair technical specifications and industry requirements supporting the repair of complex and critical systems and equipment.
- Effective communication skills; both verbal and written.
- ISO 9001:2015 knowledge, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent
